Ian arrived in the United States via England, Australia and New Zealand. Graduating from Oklahoma State University School of Business in 1987, he worked in Retail Management until receiving his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1992. Joining an Oklahoma City law firm for several years, his practice included motor vehicle accidents, nursing home neglect and work-related injuries. He then spent over a decade in full-time Youth Ministry prior to joining Van Meter Law Firm in 2010 to continue his legal career.
Ian and his wife, Angie, are the proud parents of five daughters. Some of his favorite activities are water sports, mountain biking and traveling with his family. For the past 12 years, Ian has participated in annual missions trips to Juarez, Mexico.
After graduating Louisiana Tech University in 1974, Ann worked for law firms in Alabama and Texas before putting her career on hold to become a full-time homemaker to her husband, Aaron, and their three children. In 2010, she became a welcome addition to Van Meter Law Firm, bringing her quiet dignity and gentle spirit.

Born in Hawaii, but raised in Texas, Sharon arrived in Oklahoma City in 1977 having worked in various administrative and secretarial positions with Phillips Petroleum Company and a private practice attorney. Prior to joining Van Meter Law Firm as a Legal Assistant in 2006, she spent many years raising her family on a 13-acre “mini-farm” in Oklahoma County.
Sharon and her husband, Mark, have been blessed with three children. She and her family are active members of Cornerstone Church in Midwest City where they are involved in children and youth ministries. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching volleyball, spending time with her family on Oklahoma lakes and making people laugh.
A legal assistant with the firm since November 2008, Linn Heagen was born and raised in central Oklahoma. She is a 1980 graduate of Choctaw High School. Linn worked in OG&E's Purchasing Department for 4 years before entering the legal field, where she worked as a legal secretary for two law firms. Her husband's employment took them out of state for a year, at which time she worked in a dental office prior to the birth of the first of their two sons. Linn then spent the next 20 years as a homemaker and full-time mother.
Linn enjoys gardening and walking/running. She and her husband Mike also enjoy riding their motorcycle together, both locally and on cross-country trips. They have recently ventured into the world of farming, raising chickens and enjoying their fresh eggs.
